Darrell J. Mays
Chief Executive Officer
Darrell Mays was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of nsoro, a turnkey wireless installation services provider, from 2003 to 2008, which was acquired by MasTec in August 2008. Mr. Mays has served as an executive of MasTec since 2008, during which period the revenues and EBITDA of MasTec’s communications division, of which nsoro is a component, increased to approximately $2.3 billion and $245.0 million in 2016, respectively.
In 2005, Mr. Mays founded the nsoro Foundation which provides access to postsecondary education for youth who age out of the foster care system. Mr. Mays holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from Georgia State University.
Chief Operating Officer
Graham McGonigal served as Chief Network Officer at Vonage Holdings (NYSE: VG) from December 2015 to February 2018, and as Senior Vice President of Network Operations at Vonage from February 2012 to December 2015. Mr. McGonigal has more than 30 years of technical experience and has held senior leadership roles within AT&T (NYSE: T), Cingular Wireless and Bellsouth.
From September 2007 to January 2012, Mr. McGonigal was the Chief Operating Officer at MasTec Network Solutions, a division of MasTec Inc. (NYSE: MTZ). At AT&T Mobility, Mr. McGonigal led the national data and service delivery networks and created highly competitive wireless data networks. Mr. McGonigal holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Mercer University.
Chief Financial Officer
Thomas H. King was the Chief Financial Officer of Tier One Holding Corp. and its subsidiaries from January 2017 to June 2019, after serving as its interim Chief Financial Officer from January 2016 to December 2017. Prior to January 2016, Mr. King served as Chief Financial Officer to numerous private equity sponsored companies primarily as an engagement partner with Tatum, a Randstad Company.
Also while at Tatum, he was Chief Financial Officer at Allied Systems Holdings, Inc. from August 2004 until September 2008 and served as Vice President-Finance at Rock-Tenn Company (currently known as WestRock Company) from November 2000 to July 2004. Mr. King was also an Assurance Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. King received a MS Industrial Administration from Carnegie-Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University.
Chief Revenue Officer
Dominick Passanante brings over 25 years of industry experience with extensive knowledge in developing sales channels and programs designed to accelerate profitable growth. Prior to joining AVCtechnologies, Mr. Passanante was the Vice President of Sales and Channel Operations at Panasonic, where he was responsible for setting strategy and sales execution for the US sales team. Under his leadership, Panasonic’s #1 market share position increased significantly within the Public Sector and Utility market.
Mr. Passanante previously held various senior level positions at Motorola Solutions, Inc. (MSI) in finance, operations, and sales over a 20-year period. He was a member of the Executive Council for the IT Alliance for Public Sector (ITAPS) and in 2018, Mr. Passanante was recognized by CRN magazine as Channel Chief for his commitment to Panasonic’s reseller program that addressed the evolving needs of the channel ecosystem.
Mr. Passanante holds a Bachelor Degree in Finance and Master Degree in Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University.
Chief Network Officer
Chuck Canton is a customer-obsessed Senior Executive with over a decade of experience at hyper-growth technology companies, primarily in the Cloud Communications sector. His former roles include Global Vice President of Customer Success and Operations at Vonage Holdings (NYSE: VG) and President of Services and Operations at Compass, a rapidly growing tech-enabled real estate company currently valued at $6.5 billion.
Chuck has a track record for building customer loyalty, and was instrumental in helping these organizations achieve multi-billion dollar valuations. His focus at AVCtechnologies is to enable rapid growth across all business units while ensuring the best customer experience in the industry.
