A veteran of the telecommunications and technology industries, Xavier Williams brings a wealth of experience to his role as CEO. Before joining AVCtechnologies, Xavier held several leadership positions at AT&T (NYSE: T) across multiple disciplines including finance, strategy, sales, product management, global operations, and human resources.
Xavier is proud to have received several awards, including an Honorary Doctorate from the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, the AT&T Chairman’s Diversity Award, the Eagle Award for outstanding leadership from the National Eagle Leadership Institute, and the USA Freedom Corps Award for Dedication to Volunteer Services. He also received recognition as one of the Top 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America from Savoy magazine, was named one of the Most Powerful Executives in Corporate America by Black Enterprise magazine, one of the Top 100 Under 50 Executive Leaders by Diversity MBA magazine, and one of the Wash100 leaders in government contracting by Executive Mosaic (an international leadership organization).
Chief Operating Officer
Coming to AVCT, Michael Dennis holds various Executive Leadership positions responsible for sales, sales operations, customer service, manufacturing, professional services, and digital platform management. Most notable, during his tenure at Avaya as Group Vice President, Michael managed a service revenue portfolio of $3+ billion and led the growth of technology equipment and professional service revenue.
As an entrepreneur, Michael has a proven track record of delivering extraordinary results by leveraging executive relationships to drive sales growth and access to new opportunities and partnerships. He was the principal owner of General Sports Venue-Astro Turf, a certified minority business enterprise and national synthetic turf company with exclusive rights to the AstroTurf brand, which Michael sold in 2009.
Dr. Louis (Lou) J. Hutchinson III
Chief Growth Officer
Dr. Louis (Lou) Hutchinson was the Chief Revenue Officer for WGL Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: WGL), prior to joining AVCT, where he managed the strategy, sales, marketing, and corporate communications initiatives that led to an increase in WGL’s stock value from $28/share to $84/share over three years. Lou also worked at Constellation an Exelon Company (NASDAQ: EXC), where he grew revenue from $1.2M to $6B by establishing the company as a visionary through a unified energy ecosystem and distributed generation solution (energy cloud) in the large commercial and public sector marketplaces. As CEO and CTO at Crunchy Technologies, Lou developed strategies to accelerate growth and operational efficiency, leading to the company being named one of the top three companies worldwide for accessibility software. Lou’s experience as an early employee at Netscape Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: NSCP) has been foundational to his success.
Dr. Hutchinson is proud to have received several awards, including Chief Marketing Officer of the Year by the Washington Business Journal in 2018. He also received recognition as one of the Top 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America from Savoy magazine in 2014, 2016 and 2018, and was named one of the Most Powerful Executives in Corporate America by Black Enterprise magazine in 2018. He is a member of the Executive Leadership Council, Leadership Greater Washington and is a Board Member of the Wesley Theological Seminary.
Chief Administrative Officer
Sheila Marks-Jolivette has worked for Southwestern Bell, SBC, and AT&T(NYSE:T) across a diverse spectrum of roles including strategy, sales, operations, and global marketing. Leading large-scale teams through transformation and the pursuit of disruptive innovation is her proudest quest as an executive.
Sheila is proud to actively serve as a member of the Board of Directors for Inspiring Tomorrow’s Leaders, Inc., a 501c3 organization. She has received numerous awards and honors, including SWB Outstanding Achievement Sales Operation Award, AT&T Key Contributor Awards, induction in Prosperity Now Racial Wealth Divide Initiative – Building High Impact Nonprofits of Color People, and recently, she received induction into Dallas Economic Opportunity Leadership Academy, sponsored by Aspen Institute, United Way, and Community Foundation of Texas.
Chief Financial Officer
From January 2017 to June 2019, Tom King served as the Chief Financial Officer of Tier One Holding Corp. and its subsidiaries, after serving as its interim Chief Financial Officer from January 2016 to December 2017. Before that, he was the Chief Financial Officer to numerous private equity-sponsored companies, but he worked primarily as an engagement partner with Tatum, a Randstad Company.
While at Tatum, King was Chief Financial Officer at Allied Systems Holdings, Inc. from August 2004 until September 2008 and served as Vice President-Finance at Rock-Tenn Company (currently known as WestRock Company) from November 2000 to July 2004. He was also an Assurance Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
President, Emerging Technology
Faisal Bhutto is an industry veteran with more than two decades of industry experience. He led the charge in deploying the first production Cisco UC environment in Texas in the early 2000s at the forefront of the TDM PBX transition to VoIP. Capitalizing on the multitenancy capabilities of that platform, Faisal built UCaaS for companies to take advantage of this revolutionary enterprise technology trend, further building a Managed Services powerhouse.
Today, Faisal is responsible for the fast-growing and industry-leading Cloud, Managed Services, and Security business. He holds the industry’s most prestigious CCIE certification and serves on several technology boards, including the Global Technology Advisory board for Cisco.
President, Solution Technology
Worth Davis possesses more than 25 years of industry experience in executive leadership positions with several Global 500 companies. He is responsible for refining the AVCtechnologies vendor portfolio and ensuring the company stays at the forefront of the IT industry. As the chief architect, Worth’s responsibilities include discovering and putting into practice disruptive solutions to ensure our customers stay ahead of competitors.
Worth is proud to lead a seasoned team of Senior Solution and Design Architects focused on Data Center, Collaboration, and Enterprise Networking technologies. Prior to this, he spearheaded several large-scale data center and business transformation projects for a Global 50 company.
Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications
Before joining AVCtechnologies, Kathy Snyder served as Senior Director of Marketing for Windstream Communications, where she led marketing strategy and programs for the Windstream Enterprise and Windstream Wholesale business units.
She has also served in marketing leadership roles within Global Crossing Telecommunications (now Lumen Technologies) and Xerox Corporation, where she had strategic oversight and program responsibility across multiple disciplines including market strategy, digital marketing, brand development, marketing operations, field marketing, product management, lead generation, and sales enablement. Additionally, she has extensive experience serving direct, indirect, resale, and wholesale sales distribution models.
